I have a problem with playing anno 1602 on windows 7
It is an old problem with the game, after playing somm time the game crashes and i return to the desktop. On older versions of windows it was possibel to change this problem by lowering the hardware acceleration. In windows 7 however this isn't possibel. After somm reserche it appeard to be abel by following this steps: CLICK HERE
On my pc however i cant push the change settings button (step 5).

Can anybody help me? I liked playin the game on my old pc and i would stil like to play it.

Thanks in advance

I don't have Windows 7, but do you maybe need to be admin in order to change that setting? Microsoft has done screwy things like that before...

I'm running Windows 7 Hope Premium x64. So far Anno 1602 has run fine on my system except for the colors of the intro videos. I did change the compatibility for the game (right click the shortcut icon, select the Compatibility tab, check Run this program in compatibility mode for: Windows XP SP3), and also checking 'Disable desktop composition' and 'Run this program as an administrator'.
I know what you mean - I love the game too!
